9/17/19 1st floor decided to have a fire for the hall so we could all enjoy the end of homecoming, sadly we only had about 20 people show up. I guess homecoming isn’t the week to schedule a fire, oh well. However Graham did have an electric ranger so all the carbon put in to the ozone by the fire was made up for by the electric ranger.

Service Auction
Hugunin and Morrow teamed up this year for the annual service auction. It was a fantastic event raising funds for Heifer International. This is an organization that supports third world countries by giving animals and farming tools as well as knowledge to use them to people in need. They help support the people in a way that is economically and environmentally friendly. Thanks to everyone who participated in the auction and who donated items or services.
Cans for a Cure
Check the Microwave room for the return of Cans for a Cure. There is a box for you to put your cans in so they can be collected and recycled. The money collected from recycling is donated to cancer research. Do your part and support the environment and recycle. It put there to make it so easy, all the extra work is done for you.
Pop or Soda
Whatever its called where your from it usually ends with empty cans. We now have a box to collect these cans so they can be recycled. This box is located in the microwave room. Recycling helps reduce the impact we have on the ecosystems. Save the planet recycle your cans.
Pioneer Provisions
For all the gentlemen not on the meal plan on 1 North there are options on campus for you too. Pioneer provisions is a on campus food pantry for students. Located on the west side of GWAM stop in and get some free food. They are open Tuesday and Wednesday 3-6 pm. The food is donated recycling it to those who can use it instead of simply throwing it out. This is saving the world one bite at a time.
